YO! Been a while since i updated but i just got back from pressing my 1st deck of 3! I must say that it turned out nicely! im gonna post pics later after i get off work... Just to let u know i scraped the bamboo tooo delicate to work with for my taste, So instead im rocking 3 plies of birch with 10 oz glass on top and on bottom meanwhile it has a advanced hybrid carbon core that is a 1/8" birch core surrounded and reinforced with 4 layers of carbon! This board is a tank it also has some deep cave to it! 6/8" gradual concave! Look for pics in a little bit! Thanks-Jake

It kills me to say this but...
The wood i bought will not press the way i thought it would
But... Im going to buy some that will this weekend i hope to get this done by march 16th Check for more updates sorry for the delays. This is a learning experience for me thanks -Jake

Hey guys so it seems that my project is falling apart at the seems! ughhh i am determined to finish what i started it just puts a delay on thing when your graphic artist bails out and your laser engraver goes out of buisness.... Im scowering the are for local laser engravers and im trying to make my own logo in Photoshop at school... Mean while i just cut the wood to fit the mold and will been taking them to the press asap hopefuly friday... Any way just a quick shout out to Randal Truck Co. for sending me a ton of stickers 5 sets of 180mm trucks and a rad shirt you guys are awesome!

Hey guys, im updating with the first official pictures from this project! I just got back from getting my wood! Thanks to Higuera Hardwoods This wood is amazingly breathtaking... 100% green bamboo FSC certified! Thanks for the donation guys. All though im pretty sure a panda is going to go hungry today because of the need for man to ride the concrete wave.... But just a small update today.... Off to the press tomorow to have a quick meeting about how we are gonna do this!

Hey everyone, Ive been shocked at how many views i get a day! This means alot as you can see i have made some improvments to the site IE the sponsors links on the top right of the site and their logos/images on the bottom as advertisments! Please support these companies as they give back to the community. I wish more companies were like this in america perhaps then we wouldnt be in a reccesion. Hello Everyone! I am a senior at MT. Rainier High School in DesMoines Washington. In Washington state it is a Graduation requirement to compile a "Senior project" That entails Benefiting the Community in some way (ie. community service, dontations or services)as well as a shallow dive into possibities of employment after High School.

So lately i have been thinking what do i Love to do? Well i love to longboard and help people. So after seeing the devestation in haiti i came up with this idea. I thought that i would build 4-5 longboard decks my self have companies donate components and auction off the finneshed project and have 100% of the procedes go to the American Red cross Haiti releif fund.

I currently am working on getting a press from a company to be donated. I my self will be buying the bamboo and pressing the boards. The next step to completeing the project after pressing and cutting has been completed is to have the boards Laser engraved as the graphic. As of now i am planning on having each board have a diferent graphic! But all boards will have sponsors logo's and names put into the graphic! Then i will assemble the complete boards and put them up for auction!

I will be periodicaly be posting updates on this site about progress on the project so check back!
